SOME OF OUR HISTORY

Audio Bible Club was founded in 1979 by the late Jim McLean of Glasgow in Scotland who saw a need for visually impaired people to be able to study the word of God on a daily basis.
Originally we were known as RADIO BIBLE CLASS FOR THE BLIND and we used to provide an audio cassette version of the RBC daily devotional 'Our Daily Bread'.

Following Jim McLeans retirement the work was continued with Mr Jim Codona, also from Glasgow producing and duplicating the tapes, with Jim Gourley, and then Alex Craig doing the reading onto cassette.

In March 2000 Jim Codona was forced to retire due to ill health and Peter Townsend from London took over the production and duplication of the cassettes, with Alex Craig continuing to provide the voice for the daily readings.
In more recent  times although the work of Audio Bible Club has expanded to include a much wider range of material than just one set of Bible reading notes, we remain committed to the same vision of providing quality Bible study material for those who are unable for whatever reason to study the word of God in printed form.
On this site you will find details of a number of resources which we can provide free of charge to anyone who requests them. One of our newest resources is the provision of our readings in mp3 format for free download anywhere in the world.
